Why do so many believers struggle with obedience? It is not because they lack willpower — it is because they have not paid enough attention to the Word of God. Obedience is not brute-force compliance; it is the natural overflow of a life soaked in God's truth. When you truly understand what God has revealed, obedience becomes instinctive. A life that obeys the things that are known and revealed becomes the will of God in itself — and the actual will of God flows out of it naturally. We do not obey because of what we stand to benefit; we obey because it is the right thing to do in the fear of God.
