What is true progress in the Christian life? It is not the accumulation of knowledge or the multiplication of activities — it is the discovery of the face of Christ and your personal transformation into that image. That is progress in Christianity; all other things are added to that. Fellowship, personal prayer, and study of the Word must be directed toward one goal: becoming more like Christ. This may be acceptable when we are baby Christians, but every true minister should be teaching their followers to grow past spiritual infancy.
