THE HIGH CALLING
This series of messages seek to focus the child of God on the true purpose of life. It emphasizes again (as in THE HABITATION OF GOD) that Christ-likeness is the primary thing that God is doing in the lives of believers. That is the high caling - to be like Him. There is one such calling for every one of us Christians.
This series also teaches children of God to focus on the things of eternity. As a matter of fact, one day we are all going to face the judgment seat of Christ.
Among the things you will learn is how to use for faith effectively. Faith doesn't teach us how to get things; it teaches us how to become like Christ. It is when we are like Christ that life responds to us.
Faith doesn't first teach us how to get things; it first teaches me how to relate with those things. It shows me that my life doesn't consist in the abundance of things which I possess.
