How should a believer understand suffering in light of God's promises? Suffering is a reality in a fallen world, but it is not the final word for the child of God. God does not waste pain — He uses it to refine faith, build character, and draw His children closer to Himself. Yet the scripture also reveals that much suffering has a spiritual dimension that faith can address. The believer is called not simply to endure but to overcome — knowing that the God who walks through the fire with you is also the God who delivers you from it.
