Hope is the anchor of our souls. Hope is not a desire but an expected outcome of events based upon the evidence that we have. It is hope that shapes our decisions; the drive to live comes from it. It is the reason we can pray. We therefore must take hold of hope from the Lord so that our lives can have the energy required for perseverance and for eventual success.
