We are pursuing righteousness and holiness; we want to be prepared for the Lord’s use and for His return. But the world wants us to follow a path that leads to temporal success—things that will be burnt up at the coming of the Lord, and we must refuse.
As we walk with the Lord, the temptations don’t go away, and the Lord’s demands don’t become softer. But it is the one that keeps steadfast till the end that will be saved and will enter into a special and eternal destiny prepared by the Lord.
